Maverick: The flying car that does.
The Maverick LSA “Flying Car” is the fulfillment of a dream. It is the result of six long years of research and development by a creative non-profit organization known as the Indigenous Peoples’ Technology and Education Center (I-TEC) Visit www.itecusa.org). I-TEC’s mission is to provide tools and technologies to God-followers in frontiers areas to meet their needs.
The Maverick LSA design has been developed as an easy-to-operate – air, land, and snow craft. It is intuitive and safe to fly, drive and maintain by people in frontier areas of the world enabling them to use this unique vehicle in missions and humanitarian applications – in the world “beyond roads.”
Beyond Roads LLC has been granted the manufacturing rights for the Maverick. This will facilitate the development of a commercial market that will make it possible to produce this unique multi-medium transportation vehicle at an affordable cost for those people of high need and low means in frontier areas, while providing a useful utility vehicle and fun recreational vehicle.

Sales of these unique machines allow isolated and disadvantaged people living beyond the reach of roads, beyond the reach of health care services, beyond the reach of economic opportunities and formal education - and for some people groups, beyond the reach of the rest of the world and the opportunity to interact with fellow citizens of this small planet.

Our Inspiration
Transportation in frontier areas is sorely lacking, where roads are expensive, difficult to maintain, and impractical. In his travels to the 'primitive' regions of the world, and his own youth in the frontier regions of Ecuador, Steve Saint identified many of the primary requirements for a successful frontier vehicle: it must be rugged and easy to service in remote areas, use widely available automotive fuel, and be able to fly over terrain when the roads inevitably fail. The Maverick is designed to meet - and exceed - these requirements, and do so in an efficient and straightforward manner.
